01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners;                                          
02 requiring a report on audit compliance by the Board of Chiropractic Examiners; and                                      
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(5) is amended to read:                                                                
06                 (5)  Board of Chiropractic Examiners (AS 08.20.010) - June 30, 2027                                 
07       [2022];                                                                                                           
08    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10 AUDIT COMPLIANCE: LEGISLATIVE AUDIT DIVISION REPORT. Within one                                                         
11 year after the effective date of this Act, the legislative audit division shall submit to the                           
12 Legislative Budget and Audit Committee a report concerning compliance by the Board of                                   
13 Chiropractic Examiners with the recommendations of the June 22, 2021, audit of the board                                
14 conducted under AS 44.66.
