01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Alaska regional economic assistance                                       
02 program; and providing for an effective date."                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. Section 21, ch. 2, SLA 2014, as amended by sec. 4, ch. 52, SLA 2016, is                               
05 amended to read:                                                                                                        
06            Sec. 21. AS 44.33.896 is repealed July 1, 2031 [2021].                                                   
07    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
08 read:                                                                                                                   
09       RETROACTIVITY. If this Act takes effect after July 1, 2021, it is retroactive to                                  
10 July 1, 2021.                                                                                                           
11    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
