01 "An Act relating to opioid overdose drugs; and providing for an effective date."                                        
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 17.20.085(c) is amended to read:                                                                   
04 (c)  The chief medical officer of the department may issue a standing order,                                            
05 including a statewide standing order, for the prescription of an opioid overdose drug.                                  
06 [A STANDING ORDER ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBSECTION MUST EXPIRE                                                              
07       ON OR BEFORE JUNE 30, 2021.]                                                                                      
08    * Sec. 2. AS 17.20.085(d) is repealed.                                                                             
09    * Sec. 3. Section 2, ch. 1, SLA 2017, is repealed.                                                                 
10    * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
