01 "An Act exempting certain ambulatory surgical center employees from overtime pay                                        
02 requirements; and providing for an effective date."                                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 23.10.060(d)(12) is amended to read:                                                              
05                 (12)  an employee of a hospital or ambulatory surgical center whose                                 
06       employment includes the provision of medical services; in this paragraph,                                     
07       "ambulatory surgical center" has the meaning given in AS 47.32.900;                                           
08    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
