01 "An Act naming the Bragaw Street overcrossing of the Glenn Highway the Insook Baik                                      
02 Bridge; naming the Congressman Don Young Bridge; and relating to signage and                                            
03 informational displays for the bridges."                                                                                
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
06            Sec. 35.40.223. Insook Baik Bridge. The Bragaw Street overcrossing of the                                    
07       Glenn Highway located in Mountain View in Anchorage is named the Insook Baik                                      
08       Bridge.                                                                                                           
09    * Sec. 2. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                       
10            Sec. 35.40.405. Congressman Don Young Bridge. Bridge number 1818 to be                                       
11       built across the Juneau Creek Canyon on the Sterling Highway is named the                                         
12       Congressman Don Young Bridge.                                                                                     
13    * Sec. 3. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                            
14 read:                                                                                                                   
01 DONATIONS FOR INSOOK BAIK BRIDGE SIGNAGE AND INFORMATIONAL                                                              
02 DISPLAYS. Notwithstanding the absence of separate accounting authority under                                            
03 AS 37.05.146, the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities may accept gifts,                                  
04 donations, and grants from a person or agency for the purpose of providing signage and                                  
05 informational displays for the Insook Baik Bridge. Gifts, donations, and grants shall be used                           
06 in accordance with a memorandum of understanding agreed on by the donor and the                                         
07 department.
