01 Extending the termination date of the State Medical Board; requiring a report on the State                              
02 Medical Board's audit compliance; and providing for an effective date.

04    * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(13) is amended to read:                                                                 
05                 (13)  State Medical Board (AS 08.64.010) - June 30, 2023 [2020];                                      
06    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                            
07 read:                                                                                                                   
08       AUDIT COMPLIANCE: LEGISLATIVE AUDIT DIVISION REPORT. Within one                                                   
09 year after the effective date of this Act, the legislative audit division shall submit a report                         
10 concerning compliance by the State Medical Board with the recommendations of the April 26,                              
11 2019, audit of the board conducted under AS 44.66 to the Legislative Budget and Audit                                   
12 Committee.                                                                                                              
13    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
