01 "An Act relating to the introduction of bills."                                                                         
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 24.08.060(a) is amended to read:                                                                   
04 (a)  A member of the legislature or a committee chair, after consultation with                                      
05 all of the active members of a committee and [CHAIRMAN,] with the concurrence                                       
06 of a majority of the active members of the committee and on behalf of the committee,                                    
07 may introduce a bill or resolution. Bills and resolutions shall be prepared and                                         
08 introduced in the manner and form prescribed in the uniform rules and the legislative                                   
09       style manual.
