01 "An Act limiting the application of neonicotinoid pesticides."                                                          
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 46.03.730 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
04 (b)  Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, a person may not apply                                            
05 imidacloprid, clothianidin, thiamethoxam, dinotefuran, acetamiprid, or any other                                        
06 neonicotinoid pesticide to seeds, to foliage, or in granular form to soil, unless the                                   
07 pesticide is contained entirely within a greenhouse and the seeds, foliage, or soil will                                
08 remain in the greenhouse for the entire lifespan of the seeds, foliage, or soil. This                                   
09       subsection does not apply to a pesticide applicator licensed under AS 46.03.320(b).
