00                    SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Joint Resolution No. 4, urging the United States Congress                                 
03 to provide a means for consistently and equitably sharing with all oil and gas producing                                
04 states adjacent to federal outer continental shelf areas a portion of revenue generated                                 
05 from oil and gas development on the outer continental shelf to ensure that those states                                 
06 develop necessary infrastructure to support outer continental shelf development and                                     
07 preserve environmental integrity.                                                                                       
08 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
09       That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                 
10 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                      
11 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House                          
12 Joint Resolution No. 4, urging the United States Congress to provide a means for consistently                           
13 and equitably sharing with all oil and gas producing states adjacent to federal outer                                   
14 continental shelf areas a portion of revenue generated from oil and gas development on the                              
01 outer continental shelf to ensure that those states develop necessary infrastructure to support                         
02 outer continental shelf development and preserve environmental integrity.
