00                    SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 5                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Joint Resolution No. 13, urging the United States                                         
03 Department of the Army to maintain and strengthen the current level of its combat-                                      
04 capable structure in the state and not to take structural realignment actions with regard                               
05 to Fort Wainwright and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.                                                                 
06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
07       That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                 
08 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                      
09 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House                          
10 Joint Resolution No. 13, urging the United States Department of the Army to maintain and                                
11 strengthen the current level of its combat-capable structure in the state and not to take                               
12 structural realignment actions with regard to Fort Wainwright and Joint Base Elmendorf-                                 
13 Richardson.
