01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature,                            
02 concerning House Bill No. 33, adding definitions of "gravity knife" and "switchblade" to the                            
03 criminal law; and relating to reserving the authority to regulate knives to the state with limited                      
04 exceptions for municipalities to regulate knives.

06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                             
07      That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                               
08 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
09 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House Bill No. 33, adding                             
10 definitions of "gravity knife" and "switchblade" to the criminal law; and relating to reserving                         
11 the authority to regulate knives to the state with limited exceptions for municipalities to                             
12 regulate knives.
