01 "An Act exempting vehicles fueled solely by electricity or compressed natural gas from                                  
02 motor vehicle registration fees and taxes; and providing for an effective date."                                        
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 28.10.411 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
05            (g)  A vehicle that is fueled solely by electricity or compressed natural gas is                             
06       exempt from the registration fee required under this section and under AS 28.10.421.                              
07    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
