01 "An Act naming the Capitol Annex the Thomas B. Stewart Legislative Office Building."                                    
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                 
04            Sec. 35.40.220. Thomas B. Stewart Legislative Office Building. (a) The                                     
05       Capitol Annex in Juneau known as the Scottish Rite Temple is named the Thomas B.                                  
06       Stewart Legislative Office Building.                                                                              
07            (b)  The legislative council shall prepare and install an appropriate plaque                                 
08       dedicating the Thomas B. Stewart Legislative Office Building in memory of the                                     
09       Honorable Thomas B. Stewart.
