01 "An Act relating to the administration of the Alaska energy efficient home grant fund                                   
02 by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation."                                                                             
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 18.56.410(b) is amended to read:                                                                   
05            (b)  Subject to appropriation, the corporation may grant funds from the Alaska                               
06       energy efficient home grant fund to agencies of the state or federal government,                                  
07       individuals, or businesses that retrofit existing single family dwellings or build new                            
08       single family dwellings that meet criteria adopted by the corporation. Under the                              
09       authority of this subsection, the corporation shall provide for disbursements by                              
10       the payment of grant proceeds to the agency, individual, or business that is the                              
11       grant applicant                                                                                               
12                 (1)  as a rebate; or                                                                                
13                 (2)  based on vouchers submitted by the applicant describing, with                                  
14       a particularity that is satisfactory to the corporation, the expenditures incurred                            
01       or to be incurred for which the payment is requested; for a disbursement based                                
02       on a voucher submitted under this paragraph, the corporation may make the                                     
03       payment jointly to the applicant and to the person providing the service for                                  
04       which the payment is requested.
