01 "An Act relating to charter school funding."                                                                            
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 14.17.450 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
04            (c)  If the ADM in a charter school is less than 150, the adjusted student count                             
05       under (a) of this section for the school shall be calculated by multiplying the ADM by                            
06       1.27.                                                                                                             
07    * Sec. 2. AS 14.17.905(b) is amended to read:                                                                      
08            (b)  Notwithstanding (a)(3) of this section and for purposes other than                                  
09       calculations under AS 14.17.450, a charter school shall be counted as a separate                              
10       school if the charter school has an ADM of at least 150 students.
