01 "An Act relating to the reporting of child pornography."                                                                
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 47.17.023 is repealed and reenacted to read:                                                       
04            Sec. 47.17.023. Reports from certain persons regarding child                                               
05       pornography. A person providing, either privately or commercially, film, photo, or                              
06       visual or printed matter processing, production, or finishing services or computer                                
07       installation, repair, or other services, or Internet or cellular telephone services who, in                       
08       the process of providing those services, observes a film, photo, picture, computer file,                          
09       image, or other matter and has reasonable cause to suspect that the film, photo,                                  
10       picture, computer file, image, or other matter visually depicts a child engaged in                                
11       conduct described in AS 11.41.455(a) shall immediately report the observation to the                              
12       nearest law enforcement agency and provide the law enforcement agency with all                                    
13       information known about the nature and origin of the film, photo, picture, computer                               
14       file, image, or other matter.
