01 Relating to an aggravating factor at sentencing for crimes committed at, or affecting persons                           
02 or property at, certain shelters and facilities.

04    * Section 1. AS 12.55.155(c) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                         
05                 (34)  the defendant committed the offense on, or to affect persons or                                   
06       property on, the premises of a recognized shelter or facility providing services to                               
07       victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.                                                                   
08    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10       APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to offenses committed on or after the effective                                   
11 date of this Act.
