01 "An Act relating to an aggravating factor at sentencing for crimes committed at certain                                 
02 shelters and facilities."                                                                                               
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 12.55.155(c) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                         
05                 (34)  the defendant committed the offense on the premises of a                                          
06       recognized shelter or facility providing services to victims of domestic violence or                              
07       sexual assault.                                                                                                   
08    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10       APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to offenses committed on or after the effective                                   
11 date of this Act.
