01 "An Act relating to the export of fish taken in a sport fishery; and providing for an                                   
02 effective date."                                                                                                        
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 16.05.340(a) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                        
05                 (27)  Sport fish export tag . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  . .$10.                              
06    * Sec. 2.  AS 16.05 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
07            Sec. 16.05.863.  Export of fish taken in a sport fishery.  A nonresident may                               
08       not export from this state processed or unprocessed fish taken in a sport fishery in this                         
09       state unless the nonresident has attached a sport fish export tag issued under                                    
10       AS 16.05.340(a) to each container of sport fish that a nonresident ships or transports                            
11       from the state.  A separate tag must be obtained and attached to a container for each 50                          
12       pounds of sport fish or fraction of 50 pounds of sport fish contained in the container.                           
13       In this section, "container" includes a box, carton, suitcase, crate, and similar                                 
14       containers.
