01 "An Act making a special appropriation from the general fund to the municipal                                           
02 endowment fund; and providing for an effective date."                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. GENERAL FUND. The sum of $750,000,000 is appropriated from the general                                
05 fund to the municipal endowment fund (AS 29.60.800).                                                                    
06    * Sec. 2. CONTINGENT EFFECT. This Act takes effect only if a bill is enacted and takes                             
07 effect before July 1, 2007, relating to the municipal endowment program and establishing the                            
08 municipal endowment fund.                                                                                               
09    * Sec. 3. If this Act takes effect under sec. 2 of this Act, it takes effect on the effective date                 
10 of a bill that is enacted and takes effect before July 1, 2007, relating to the municipal                               
11 endowment program and establishing the municipal endowment fund.
