04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  Section 49, ch. 24, SLA 2003, is amended to read:                                                    
06            Sec. 49.  Section 45 of this Act takes effect January 1, 2006 [JULY 1, 2005].                            
07    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
