01 "An Act requiring an actionable claim against the state to be tried without a jury unless                               
02 a jury trial is requested by the state."                                                                                
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 09.50.250 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
05            (b)  Unless the state requests a jury trial, an actionable claim against the state                           
06       under (a) of this section shall be tried by a court without a jury.
