01 "An Act making an appropriation for a nonmotorized access route on the Kenai                                            
02 Peninsula; and providing for an effective date."                                                                        
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  NONMOTORIZED ACCESS.  The sum of $625,000 is appropriated to the                                     
05 Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for design and construction of                                       
06 nonmotorized access along the Sterling Highway through Ninilchik from the Ninilchik state                               
07 recreation site to the Deep Creek state recreation site from the following sources:

10       Federal receipts                               578,125                                                            
11    * Sec. 2.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project and lapses under                            
12 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
13    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2003.
