01 "An Act making an appropriation to the Alaska Industrial Development and Export                                         
02 Authority for a power transmission intertie between Kake and Petersburg; and                                            
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  KAKE-PETERSBURG POWER TRANSMISSION INTERTIE.  The sum of                                             
06 $20,000,000 is appropriated from the Railbelt energy fund (AS 37.05.520) to the Alaska                                  
07 Industrial Development and Export Authority for design and construction of a power                                      
08 transmission intertie between Kake and Petersburg.                                                                      
09    * Sec. 2.  LAPSE PROVISION.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project,                          
10 lapses under AS 37.25.020, and lapses into the Railbelt energy fund (AS 37.05.520).                                     
11    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
