01 "An Act amending a definition of 'wages' for purposes of Title 36 of the Alaska Statutes                                
02 to include payments for travel expenses and per diem."                                                                  
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 36.95.010(7) is amended to read:                                                                  
05                 (7)  "wages" includes fringe benefits, payments for travel expenses,                                
06       and per diem.                                                                                                 
07    * Sec. 2.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                         
08 read:                                                                                                                   
09       APPLICABILITY.  This Act applies to contracts entered into on or after the effective                              
10 date of this Act.
