00 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 64(FIN) 01 "An Act making and amending appropriations for year 2000 assessment, 02 compliance, and remediation projects and modification of the Offender Base State 03 Corrections Information System and the Offender Financial Accounting System 04 in the Department of Corrections; making appropriations under art. IX, 05 sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska; and providing for an effective 06 date." 07 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 08 * Section 1. PURPOSE. The appropriations in this Act are made to ensure that essential 09 state government functions and the provision of essential state government services to 10 Alaskans are not disrupted. 11 * Sec. 2. The appropriations from the constitutional budget reserve fund in sec. 2 of this 11 Act are made under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska. 12 * Sec. 5. LAPSE PROVISIONS. The appropriations made by sec. 2 of this Act lapse 13 March 31, 2000. 14 * Sec. 6. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
