01 "An Act relating to enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game; and                                          
02 repealing the power and duty of the commissioner of fish and game to assist                                             
03 in the enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game."                                                          
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    *Section 1.  AS 16.05 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
06  Sec. 16.05.145.  Enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game.  The                                          
07 commissioner, an employee or agent of the Department of Fish and Game, or an                                            
08 employee or agent of another state department or agency may not assist in the                                           
09 enforcement of a federal statute or regulation relating to fish or game that is in conflict                             
10 with a statute of this state relating to fish or game or with a regulation adopted by the                               
11 Board of Fisheries or Board of Game.                                                                                    
12 * Sec. 2.  AS 16.05.050(1) is repealed.
