01 "An Act making an appropriation to the University of Alaska for deferred                                                
02 maintenance and code compliance; and providing for an effective date."                                                  
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $50,275,300 is appropriated from the general fund to the                                  
05 University of Alaska for deferred maintenance and code compliance.                                                      
06    * Sec. 2.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project and lapses under                            
07 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
08    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1998.
