01 "An Act requiring school districts and regional educational attendance areas to                                         
02 pay for the cost of immunizations for blood borne pathogens for certain                                                 
03 employees."                                                                                                             
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  AS 14.03 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                   
06  Sec. 14.03.160.  PAYMENT FOR IMMUNIZATIONS.  A school district or                                                     
07 regional educational attendance area shall pay for the cost of immunizations against                                    
08 blood borne pathogens for an employee who requests that the school district or                                          
09 regional educational attendance area do so.
