01 "An Act requiring the use of a motorcycle helmet when operating or riding on                                            
02 a motorcycle; and providing for an effective date."                                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 28.35.245(b) is repealed and reenacted to read:                                                     
05  (b)  A person shall wear a motorcycle helmet while operating or riding on a                                           
06 motorcycle.                                                                                                             
07    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect September 30, 1993.
