01 "An Act relating to notice of certain appropriations from the dividend fund."                                           
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 43.23.028(b) is amended to read:                                                                    
04  (b)  The notice requirements of (a) of this section do not apply to                                                   
05 appropriations from the dividend fund to the crime victim compensation fund                                             
06 established under AS 18.67.162, to the council on domestic violence and sexual                                         
07 assault established under AS 18.66.010, or to the Department of Corrections to the                                     
08 extent that amounts appropriated for a fiscal year do not exceed the total amount that                                  
09 would have been paid during the previous fiscal year to individuals who are ineligible                                  
10 to receive dividends under AS 43.23.005(d) if they had been eligible.
