01 "An Act amending the definition of `municipality' for purposes of the human                                             
02 services community matching grant program."                                                                             
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 29.60.650(2) is amended to read:                                                                    
05   (2)  "municipality" means a city whose population is over 20,000, [AS                                                
06 DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND REGIONAL                                                                  
07 AFFAIRS, OR] a unified municipality whose population is over 100,000, or a second                                      
08 class borough whose population is over 65,000; population for purposes of this                                          
09 paragraph shall be [AS] determined by the Department of Community and Regional                                         
10 Affairs.
