CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 26(FIN) "An Act relating to an appropriation limit; relating to the budget responsibilities of the governor; relating to the Alaska permanent fund, the earnings of the Alaska permanent fund, and the earnings reserve account; relating to the mental health trust fund; relating to deposits into the dividend fund; relating to the calculation and payment of permanent fund dividends; and providing for an effective date." and HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 26(FIN)(efd fld H) "An Act relating to an appropriation limit; relating to the budget responsibilities of the governor; relating to the Alaska permanent fund, the earnings of the Alaska permanent fund, and the earnings reserve account; relating to the mental health trust fund; relating to deposits into the dividend fund; and relating to the calculation and payment of permanent fund dividends." 10:31:37 AM Co-Chair Hoffman reported the purpose of the meeting was to request additional limited free powers. He had distributed a letter requesting additional limited free powers on specific sections, which was addressed to the Speaker of the House [Representative Bryce Edgmon] and the Senate President [Senator Pete Kelly] dated May 2, 2018 (copy on file). Representative Foster MOVED to ADOPT the letter requesting additional limited powers of conference for Sections 1, 8, 9, 12, 13, 21, and 22 in the Senate version; and Sections 6, 8, 9, 12, and 15 of the House version of SB 26. There being NO OBJECTION, it was so ordered. SB 26 was HEARD and HELD in committee for further consideration. Co-Chair Hoffman announced the next meeting would be at 1:30 p.m. ADJOURNMENT 10:32:42 AM The meeting was adjourned at 10:32 a.m.
