CHAIRMAN RANDY PHILLIPS called the  Senate Rules Committee meeting                                                            
to order at 11:32 a.m. All members were present.                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR  COWDERY moved  to  calendar SB  235-EMERGENCY  MANAGEMENT                                                          
ASSISTANCE COMPACT and its attached  fiscal note at the Chairman's                                                          
discretion.                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS objected for the purpose of reviewing the bill. He                                                                
then removed his objection.                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that without objection, the motion                                                                  
carried.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
There being no further business to come before the committee,                                                                   
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS adjourned the meeting at 11:33 a.m.
