ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-12, SIDE A  Number 001 CHAIRWOMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order. Present were Senators Cowdery, Therriault, Phillips, Ellis and Pearce. SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to calendar CSHB 132(2nd Rls)(efd am) - ALCOHOL:LOCAL OPTION/DWI/LICENSING. There being no objection, CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that the motion carried. She also noted that the bill contains a letter of intent from the House. SENATOR THERRIAULT moved the letter of intent for the purpose of calendaring. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that without objection, the letter of intent will accompany the bill. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar CSHB 172(FIN)am - THERAPEUTIC  COURTS/ SUPERIOR COURT JUDGES. There being no objection, CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced the motion carried. SENATOR PHILLIPS moved to calendar CSHB 184(JUD)am - INSURANCE CODE  AMENDMENTS. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that with no objection, the motion carried. She then recessed the meeting at 4:45 p.m. to a call of the Chair.
