CHAIRWOMAN DRUE PEARCE  called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to                                                          
order at 11:40 a.m.  Present  were Senators Cowdery, Phillips, Ellis                                                            
and  Pearce.    The  first  order of  business  to come  before  the                                                            
committee was SB 58.                                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS  moved to calendar SB  58-ADD PHYSICIAN ASST  TO STATE                                                        
MEDICAL BOARD.                                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRWOMAN  PEARCE  said that  hearing  no  objection,  SB 58  would                                                            
appear on today's Senate floor calendar.                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRWOMAN  PEARCE announced that  SCS CSHB 117(FIN) was  before the                                                            
committee.                                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR  PHILLIPS asked  if the  Senate Finance  Committee made  any                                                            
further changes to the bill this morning.                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRWOMAN  PEARCE said  it is  her understanding  that the  Finance                                                            
Committee did not make any further amendments this morning.                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR COWDERY  moved to calendar  SCS CSHB 117(FIN) and  asked for                                                            
unanimous consent.   There being no  objection, the motion  carried.
