ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 98-6, SIDE A CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 10:15 p.m., and noted the presence of Senators Leman, Taylor, Torgerson, Duncan and Kelly. CHAIRMAN KELLY reviewed the committee calendar and requested calendaring motions on the legislation. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought HB 399 - EXEMPT/DEFERRAL DETERIORATED PROPTY TAX before the committee, and directed attention to a proposed Rules SCS. He stated he thought that it was a committee substitute that most folks that are into the bill had bought off on. SENATOR TAYLOR moved adoption of SCS HB 399(RLS), and hearing no objection, it was so ordered. SENATOR TAYLOR moved SCS HB 399(RLS) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
