The roll was taken with the following result: Senators Leman, Taylor, Torgerson and Kelly voted "Yea" and Senator Duncan voted "Nay." CHAIRMAN KELLY stated the motion carried on a 4-1 vote. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent CSHB 122(JUD) - PRISONERS: LITIGATION & DEBTS be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought CSHB 458(RLS) - GOLF COURSE BEER/WINE LICENSE before the committee and directed attention to a proposed Rules SCS. He explained the committee substitute changes the extension date of the Alcoholic Beverage Board from 2002 to 1999, which will ensure that the ABC Board comes back before the Legislature next year for its normal extension process. This change was requested by a number of senators who have concerns with several issues dealing with the ABC Board, which they felt they were unable to fully address this particular year. SENATOR LEMAN moved the adoption of SCS CSHB 458(RLS). Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. SENATOR LEMAN moved SCS CSHB 458(RLS) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
