  CHAIRMAN MILLER  called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order          
 at 7:44 p.m.                                                                  
                                                                               
 CHAIRMAN MILLER brought  SB 244  (STATE AID TO EDUCATION) before the          
 committee.  Hearing no discussion, he asked for the pleasure of the           
 committee.                                                                    
                                                                               
 SENATOR PEARCE  moved and asked unanimous consent SB 244 be                   
 approved for calendaring.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.           
                                                                               
 CHAIRMAN MILLER brought  SCR 27  (SUSPEND UNIFORM RULES FOR HB 335)           
 before the committee.  Hearing no discussion, he asked for the                
 pleasure of the committee.                                                    
                                                                               
 SENATOR PEARCE moved and asked unanimous consent SCR 27 be approved
