ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 94-3, SIDE A Number 001 CHAIRMAN RICK HALFORD called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 12:27 p.m. Number 005 SENATOR RIEGER requested that SB 164 (MUNICIPAL INCORPORATION, RECLASSIFICATION, DISSOLUTION) be held an extra day to give him an opportunity to look at the bill's title, which he felt was rather broad. Chairman Halford stated SB 164 would be taken up at the next meeting of the committee. SENATOR ZHAROFF moved and asked unanimous consent that HCR 30 (TWENTY-SIXTH ANNUAL GIRLS STATE) be approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. SENATOR ZHAROFF moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 24 (EXTEND MAXIMUM PERIOD OF PROBATION) be approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN HALFORD brought SB 330 (WATER QUALITY FUNDS AND GRANTS) before the committee. He explained there was an amendment made to the bill in the Senate Finance Committee that needs further clarification. The drafter of the legislation has recommended that on page 3, line 13, after the word "collateral" add the word "security." That is the only change incorporated into the draft committee substitute. SENATOR RIEGER moved that CSSB 330(RLS) (work draft 8LS1739\K) be adopted. Hearing no objection, the motion carried. CHAIRMAN HALFORD asked for the will of the committee on SB 330. SENATOR RIEGER moved that CSSB 330(RLS) be passed out of committee with individual recommendations. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. SENATOR ZHAROFF moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 330 be approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
