He moved to adopt the Senate Transportation CS for CSHB 114, labeled 26-LS0505\W, as the working document. JANE PIERSON, Staff to Representative Jay Ramras, thanked the committee for the work it did on the bill. It was never the sponsor's intention to give state equipment to a nonprofit to use, she said. The intention was always for a state employee to operate state equipment. CHAIR KOOKESH stated for the record that the committee directed the sponsor to work with Senator Paskvan to resolve the differences. SENATOR PASKVAN said he is satisfied and believes that it's appropriate for the bill to move forward.
