APPROVED ALL SENATE VERSIONS FOR CALENDARING SENATE BILL NO. 198 "An Act establishing the Statewide Suicide Prevention Council; and providing for an effective date." APPROVED ALL SENATE VERSIONS FOR CALENDARING CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 186(L&C) "An Act relating to a municipal enhanced 911 surcharge on wireless telephones." APPROVED FOR CALENDARING HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 28 Supporting the application of Alaska Airlines to provide air service to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-7, SIDE A  Number 001 CHAIRMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 11:50 a.m. All members were present. SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to calendar all Senate versions of SB 29- REAPPROPRIATIONS & CAPITAL APPROPRIATIONS. SENATOR ELLIS objected. The motion to calendar all Senate versions of SB 29 carried with Senators Cowdery, Phillips, Therriault and Pearce voting "yea," and Senator Ellis voting "nay." CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that a new fiscal note (number 2) was prepared for SB 198, which needs to be adopted. MR. PAT CARTER, Senate Rules Committee aide, explained the new fiscal note reflects the adjustment in the number of members on the council. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar all Senate versions of SB 198- STATEWIDE SUICIDE PREVENTION COUNCIL with the appropriate fiscal note (number 2). There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR PHILLIPS moved to calendar CSHB 186(L&C)-911 SURCHARGE ON  WIRELESS TELEPHONES. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar HJR 28-ALASKA AIRLINES SERVICE TO  WASHINGTON DC. There being no objection, the motion carried. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that the committee would meet after the session is adjourned for the day to hold a substantive hearing on SJR 24. She noted a proposed Senate Rules Committee Substitute will be distributed to members. There being no further business to come before the committee, CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE adjourned the meeting at 11:54 a.m.
