It went too far by allowing weapons to be carried in state buildings, courthouses, domestic violence centers, and other places where guns shouldn't be. There was additional discussion about federal restrictions regarding where concealed weapons were allowed. COCHAIR SHARP brought up a fiscal note from the Office of the Governor (OMB) for purchase of lock boxes in various locations. He wanted to zero-out the item. SENATOR ADAMS opposed the suggestion.
