Representative Davies asked that the language be held open. He pointed out that licensing changes for nurses are pending. There is also a reclassification study underway with fisheries biologist and natural resources position. There is also a labor contract, which requires a salary survey. Chair Mulder expressed frustration with the reclassification that occurred with the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and the nurses association, which were done outside of the regular budgeting process. He maintained that the Legislature should be involved in the process. The introductory language was held open.
