Committee meeting to order at 1:40 p.m. Present at the call to
order were Senators Bishop, Dyson, and Chair Egan.
HJR 13-COAST GUARD NAT'L SECURITY CUTTER FUNDING

CHAIR EGAN announced HJR 13 to be up for consideration [CSHJR
13(TRA) was before the committee].
SENATOR DYSON moved to report CSHJR 13 from committee to the
next committee of referral with attached fiscal notes and
individual recommendations. There was no objections and CSHJR
13(TRA) was reported from the Senate Transportation Standing
Committee.

HB 146-PROOF OF MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE
CHAIR EGAN announced HB 146 to be up for consideration [CSHB 146
(TRA) was before the committee].

REPRESENTATIVE PETE HIGGINS, Alaska State Legislature, Juneau,
AK,, sponsor of HB 146, explained that this measure will allow
downloading an app that can show proof of insurance. Some people
already have it.
SENATOR DYSON asked if he had heard anything against this.
REPRESENTATIVE HIGGINS replied no.
SENATOR DYSON moved to report HB 146 from committee to the next
committee of referral with attached fiscal notes and individual
recommendations. There being no objection, CSHB 146 (TRA) was
reported from the Senate Transportation Standing Committee.
