CHAIRMAN WARD called the Senate Transportation Committee meeting to
order at 2:47 p.m. and introduced CSHB 248(TRA) as the first order
of business before the committee. Chairman Ward reviewed the
sponsor statement for HB 248.
SENATOR HALFORD moved to report CSHB 248(TRA) out of committee with
individual recommendations. Without objection, it was so ordered.
HJR 33 FAA FIELD APPROVAL OF TUNDRA TIRES

CHAIRMAN WARD announced that CSHJR 33(TRA) was the final order of
business before the committee and that SB 156 and SB 127 would not
be heard today.
SENATOR HALFORD explained that HJR 33 would oppose the FAA policy
to make all airplanes safe by not allowing any to fly.
CHAIRMAN WARD said that he would entertain a motion.
SENATOR HALFORD moved to report CSHJR 33(TRA) out of committee with
individual recommendations and the accompanying zero fiscal note.
Without objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business before the committee, the meeting
was adjourned at 2:49 p.m.
