CHAIRMAN WARD called the Senate State Affairs Committee to order at
3:15 p.m. Present were Senators Ward, Green, Elton, and Phillips.
The first order of business to come before the committee was HB
324.
HB 324-PERSONAL INFO IN MOTOR VEH. RECORDS
SENATOR ELTON moved HB 324 out of committee with individual
recommendations. Without objection, the motion carried.
HB 335-STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEMS AND BENEFITS
MR. GUY BELL, Director of the Division of Retirement and Benefits,
Department of Administration, stated CS for HB 335 is a retirement
system clean-up bill sponsored by Representative Hudson at the
request of the retirement boards.
SENATOR GREEN moved CS for HB 335 out of committee with individual
recommendations. Without objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR ELTON moved to report Lisa Fitzpatrick's name to the House
and Senate for confirmation to the State Commission for Human
Rights. Without objection, the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
