CHAIRMAN RANDY PHILLIPS called the Senate Rules Committee meeting
to order at 10:37 a.m. Senators Cowdery, Therriault and Phillips
were present.
MR. RON SOMERVILLE, a resources consultant to the House and
Senate Majorities, informed members that he was available to
answer questions.
There being no questions, SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SB
219-FED/STATE NAVIGABLE WATERS COMMISSION with its accompanying
fiscal note at the Chairman's discretion.
There being no objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to calendar SB 280-WATER/SEWER/WASTE
GRANTS TO UTILITIES with its accompanying fiscal note at the
Chairman's discretion.
There being no objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR THERRIAULT noted that he would like to amend a bill in
the Rules Committee that has already been approved for
calendaring.
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS informed him that the committee is willing to
bring the measure up again.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS adjourned the meeting at 10:37 a.m.
