CHAIRMAN RANDY PHILLIPS called the Senate Rules Committee meeting
to order at 11:00 a.m. Senators Halford, Cowdery and Phillips
were present.
SENATOR HALFORD moved to calendar SB 222-REQUIRE SLOW DRIVERS TO
PULL OVER at the Chairman's discretion.
There being no objection, CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that SB 222
would be calendared.
SENATOR HALFORD moved to calendar SB 331-DISTRICT COURT
JURISDICTIONAL AMOUNT at the Chairman's discretion and asked for
unanimous consent.
There being no objection, CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that SB 331
would be calendared.
SENATOR HALFORD moved to calendar SB 343-BEST AVAILABLE
TECHNOLOGY:DISCHARGE PLAN at the Chairman's discretion.
MR. DARWIN PETERSON, aide to Senator Torgerson, sponsor of the
measure, was available to answer questions.
There being no questions or objection, CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS
announced that SB 343 would be calendared.
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced the presence of Senators Ellis and
Therriault.
SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar HJR 37-ALASKA AIRLINES 70TH
ANNIVERSARY at the Chairman's discretion.
There being no objection, CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that HJR 37
would be calendared.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS adjourned the meeting at 11:03 a.m.
