CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 11:25 a.m. The first order of business to come before the Rules
Committee was SJR 38.
SJR 38-ALASKA CANADA RAIL FEASIBILITY STUDY
SENATOR LEMAN moved all versions of SJR 38 with individual
recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes for calendaring at
the Chairman's discretion. There being no objection, the motion
carried.
SB 255-PUB.LAND PERMITS/HEALY-FAIRBANKS INTERTIE
SENATOR LEMAN moved all versions of SB 255 with individual
recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes for calendaring at
the Chairman's discretion. SENATOR ELLIS objected. The motion
carried with Senators Pearce, Miller, Leman, and Kelly voting
"Yea," and Senator Ellis voting "Nay."
SB 236-POW/MIA DAY & WOMEN VETERANS DAY
SENATOR LEMAN moved all versions of SB 236 with individual
recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes for calendaring at
the Chairman's discretion. There being no objection, the motion
carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN KELLY adjourned the meeting at 11:28 a.m.
